Wow. When you put it that way, it really seems like CLM will not move forward from an offensive perspective. If that's the case, then you're right, the sooner he leaves the better.

You know, we haven't had any pick 6's since JL, and that is when we quit having the QB throw downfield like it's part of our gameplan. Did CLM really get that stung, and hasn't recovered (and will never recover)?

JMO, Lee threw some really bad passes that turned into pick 6's and there were a few that were just bad luck. I'm sure there is a Montage of them somewhere, they aren't all his fault.
But at the end of the day yes, I think that scared Les more than it did Lee.

 

I don't think there is any doubt. He felt his seat get hot doing something that he doesn't really agree with, throwing the ball downfield. So he said fuck it, if I'm gonna get fired I'm doing it my way, and what you see today is a product of that.
