Chavis gone... Who should we pursue as new DC?

    With the NFL head coach firings is there a decent DC from one of those teams. San Fran?

    I'd take Patterson as HC also, as long as he doesn't bring his strength coach along.

    I think TCU is making a huge statement. Has anyone done more with less than Patterson?

    He's a good coach who finally realized that they had to have a physical running game to go with their passing attack, and that their D had to be able to stop the run as well. In my view, he has the proper balance pretty much figured out. Again, his S&C program is a mess, but from a scheme standpoint I like what he does.

    A&M is just as desperate as Alabama was when they offered Saban so much to come to Alabama. Sometimes, desperate measures work. This time, I hope that they fail for A&M and CLM lucks into an even better DC.

    No offense to those that have never left Baton Rouge, but to those that have and live somewhere else you may know what I am talking about. There IS NO WAY you would get Kelsey Patterson to live there.
