1. Agreed. His light and fast defenses haven't worked against big and fast offenses like teams you have to beat to win championships have. I'm a little behind on this but I think he may not be "gone" just yet. Whatever, the situation needs to be settledt quickly, maybe today. It's affecting recruiting. Dandy Don (Scott) long mentioned Kevin Steele and Ed Orgeron this morning. Kevin Steele has a spotty record but maybe he can pick up recruiting because of the Alabama mystique and maybe even flip a Bama commit or two (haha).

  2. Chavis has been a good hire for Miles, but there are other fish in the sea and it sure appears this was deliberate on LSU's part. Chavis has his faults - I'm one of those third and Chavis guys, and it seems he kinda let us down last year. And then ND yesterday, dear God that was ugly.

I'm as low on Miles as I have been, but he's our man. This bowl game was awful, this season disappointing, and our passing game continues to fail, with very few breaks. But guy has won a NC, SECCs, very nearly recorded the most impressive season in NCAA history with one hand tied behind his back, won a boatload of games, recruits damn well, runs what appears to be a clean program, lost a NC, and other accolades.

  3. As far as I know (not far), nothing is official
  4. I was hoping for Petrino when we first got Miles. I guess its better that didn't happen the way things went afterwards for him. He's still a heck of a coach though.
  5. Petrino is an asshole and whiny little bitch, I've never liked him.
  6. Agreed. Chavis' preference for doing that has cost us a least a handful of games, some of them big games, over the past few years. As much as I like to complain about the offense, there have been times when they went down and did their job, putting us ahead with a minute or two left. When we play an attacking style of D the whole game and then suddenly can't stop a team who only has a minute and twenty seven seconds to go 80 yards with no timeouts, there is a problem with scheme.

  7. I don't disagree. But, he can coach offense. In 2005 less was known about his character than there is today.
