Like what? Honestly, what baggage is he responsible for in the last 8-10 years? The douchebag at ahia state has way more baggage and he's playing Jan 1st.
May as well, when the people who claim to be "in the know" either shower us with bullshit or play the "I can't give you a name" card then where does that leave us to go? Bottom line, don't come here and name drop and whoop tee doo about all the shit you know and the hob knobbing with the rich and famous then fold when the stakes get high. For the whole got damned year we have listened to how great Les is, how he takes care of his staff, how NO ONE else could do ANY better than what we have. Well guess what slim, a big piece of that staff is waltzing out the door into the arms of an SECW foe. If ANYONE on this board should be screaming from the rafters about what the actual fuck is going on it needs to be you. Instead we will get a truck load of innuendo and smoke and mirrors and a shit ton about nothing. Look friend, I ain't mad attcha, will still buy you a beer anytime our paths cross, and they will, but its time to put up or shut up.
I haven't read the entire thread, so sorry if this has already been answered, but why is Chavis leaving for a lateral position? He seems like he's got it made here. He makes top dollar for an assistant and has free reign of the defense (allegedly), so what's going on behind the scenes that makes him want to leave for the same position at a conference rival school in the same division? It's one thing when players start exiting en masse, but when your best assistant coach defects, I think that speaks volumes about his faith in his boss and the direction of the program.
Read what I posted, even you should be able to understand, it's not that hard. And like I said, is it 3rd and Chavis? Some like him, some don't. Some are not gonna like his replacement. That's football, get use to it. Business or a game? It's college football. This is what it's gone to. Pay to play.
Quit pussy footing around and say something with some god damned substance. Otherwise shut the fuck up.
It is crazy for people to blame the defense and someone else to blame the offense. The only person who showed up ready to play was Fournette. The defense didn't show today and neither did the offense. A few guys blocked on a few plays. End of story. How many key players will we lose for next year with Chavis gone. We might have survived Curly Hallman but we were in the desert for years. Not looking forward to LSU football next year, the wheels appear to be falling off. I am though interested to see what Jim Harbaugh does at Michigan next year.
Which Les should pony up from his own bloated salary. If he really wants to keep him, I for one sort of want to see what happens next.
