Maybe this was the beer making me see things, but didn't either Chark or Gage go down with some sort of a knee injury? They had to take him off the field and into the locker room. It sure didn't look good and I was wondering did anything come of that? Did it just so happen to be nothing or what? No injury report from what I could see so far.
Gage. Hyper extended his knee but was back in there the next series. As bad as he was limping that seemed impossible.
On the other hand, we popped Pattersons PCL and he be done for the year. Wondering if he's hating that whole, "going to the landsharks" decision?
Freak thing is he wasn't touched and just jumping up after his WR missed a grab. That is just crappy luck. No love for the kid going to ole piss but this sucks for him.
Yeah there's no schadenfreude here from a kids injury. If I had a son with passing game skills whether QB or WR I wouldn't blame him for not choosing lsu even with Les miles gone. We've had the shittiest passing game outside of Vanderbilt and it's not much different this year. I mean we couldn't even find a spot for trey Quinn after he got in the doghouse. Now he's setting records. The passing game culture here has to change at some point. Brennan is the first step in that direction bc it surely doesnt look likes he's gonna be running much if at all. Can we just have a decently consistent forward passing game. It's not like passing is this new thing in football. Although I suppose it is here.
Gotta get a better o-line as well. Recruiting this year for the oline will be imperative. It will help that Brennan has a much faster release.
