in that case, I'll chalk this up to being poorly worded by you. When supa asked why, you're response was "they don't vote the way I want them to vote". makes it sound like you want to remove voting rights of people because they tend to disagree with your viewpoint. THAT is a level I pray this country never falls to.
I doubt it. I believe the multiple intelligence assessments that state Al Queda is stronger than ever, operating in more locations, and recruiting like hell in places we are not like Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, and Indonesia. The pressure is off now, and they are back and giving us hell in Afghanistan. Take a ride down Chef Menteur highway in New Orleans East. You will find some well educated, hard working Vietnamese immigrants, and a great many of them do not speak a word of English. There are similar Hispanic, Chinese, Korean, Dutch, and German communities scattered across the US. I didn't take a personal shot, but your whole response sounds like a Michael Savage monologue.
Whateva... McCain is a lilly-livered lib too. He'll continue spending wads of cash overseas and pushing us deeper into the pocket of China and Japan and do nothing to shrink the federal bloat. I'd rather my money be spent on welfare in the US than welfare across the globe "liberating" countries who pose little threat beyond what we would face if that country did not exist at all. Our country will never be encased in a glass bubble, we are throwing our money away for the sense of security. You shouldn't be so scared.
You realize your boy Obama is going to send billions more overseas and billions more here. McCain may well continue spending wads of cash, but BO is going to spend wads more than McCain.
Obama will probably outspend McCain domestically, though I doubt McCain's domestic spending will be close to conservative ideals, but I really think McCain will outspend Obama across the ponds. McCain will spend far too much on the limitless war on terror, IMO. I also think Obama would have a more calming effect on the world, which would to some extent help financial markets around the world, including here in the US. Obama ain't my boy, he's just the dude I'm leaning toward of who's left in this mad tea party. Plus, McCain is a racist MF.
Obama is a major advocate of the Global Poverty Act. I don't think anyone can outspend that dude internationally.
