This is terrible news. I read something on ESPN that said that he is only one of two players to play on a BCS national champion football team and a CWS champ. The other is Jared Mitchell. I hope he pulls through this OK. Our prayers go out to you this morning Chad.
They are saying that he'll be charged with careless operation of a vehicle. WTF? I'd like to punch whoever said that to the media.

I think him coming in to pitch against Auburn was one of the biggest rushes I have ever had at a sporting event. I hope he makes it through this.
This is just sickening. There are no right words at a time like this. Lift him up in prayer and may those close to Chad help him hold onto his strength. From a poster on my AU board: He's a great young man. Coached against him while he was still at St. Aug - just as impressive off the field as on it. Great parents and brother who should remain in our prayers.
Us Muslims have friday prayer today (like sunday church for Christians) and i asked a bunch of people to pray for him. One of my favorite players at LSU, hope he pulls through. Picture of his car made me extremely concerned, that looks horrific.
