I think you may underestimate the game's interest. Obviously I can't speak for any other school or conference, but as a USC fan, the game is VERY interesting to me. The story lines are terrific. CNS will be leading the way with talk of big $$ and backstabbing while JR, Bama home product is in the NFL now and was coached by both CLM and CNS. If you look at the schedules for that day, the only other game that has some potential to rival interest is Wisconsin v Ohio St. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/schedules?week=10&season=2&year=2007&groupId=80 On a side note, coaching changes within conferences is something all can appreciate and does make a good story line. Can't wait to hear all the dirt on Erickson.
You're probably right.... to be sure, I checked who else was playing besides LSU/Bama on November 3rd.... Iowa is @ Northwestern... no biggie... but obviously it would be choice one if the games were on at the same time. Of the big games, it would come down to the LSU game or watching Wisconsin @ Ohio State. I'd choose the latter, but I would check in often on your game to make sure you guys were kicking butt. Most of the world doesn't really care where Saban is.
ESPN doesn't show a network listing as of yet nor a start time. Depending on where these teams are, it could become a national cast. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/schedules?week=10&season=2&year=2007&groupId=80
Being a Big Ten fan in Florida, ya gotta be prepared... so I have the full package of DirecTV, plus cable in my home office. I can pretty much get any of the big games if I do the 7 P's.... (proper prior planning prevents piss-poor performance)
 Hell, I'm in South Carolina and have to be prepared. As example, the first week of the season the local CBS/LF affiliate here in town will show tennis instead of football.
