It's not a matter of disrespect, just a matter of an individual's opinion on who will win the game. ESPN has showed the LSU football program plenty of respect over the last couple of years, picking us to win most of our games. It's like some of you guys totally forget when they pick us to win and continue to focus on negative crap. It get's old, really old.

Eh. I've got to disagree with that point. ESPN usually picks us to win the easy games. But it seems like I don't remember ESPN giving LSU a fair shake on games involving colleges like UF, Bama, AU, and the such. ESPN is in love w/ Aurburn though. The comment ringing through my head is last year when they said "The best team in the SEC isn't playing in the championship game - Aurburn."

Completely agreed. Another one that I won't forget. After we thumped the "U" with score of 40-3, I heard a comment that ".... and this is not even the best team in SEC. We still have Auburn. SEC is going to flex their muscles". what the ****. I just don't get it. If we win a close game, then it's the other team that played poorly hence we won, hence no credit to us. If they win a close game, they have heart of a champion. I just hope there would be a day when there is an alternative for ESPN.

I think going into the bowl games last year even most Tiger fans thought Auburn was playing the best football in the SEC over the second half of the season, why shouldn't the announcers have felt the same?

And we've been spotlighted on ESPN's home page as often as any other school except for USC over the past 3 years, I think we get our due exposure and props.
