The biggest mistakes I saw were the absence of RJF and they do not have Arnold listed as the starting guard.

The team will be far better if … the penalties are reduced. The Tigers weren’t killed by the errors, but there were just enough, 83 on the season, to be annoying. They were mostly the ticky-tack, five-yard variety, but it is one of the few areas

IMO, this is the most conclusive statement. This guy sees it like I do, I expect nothing less than a National Championship year. Perhaps, I'm a homer but when a writer only sees, a substraction of penalties as the way the team will be far better off, then it somehow validates my opinion. THIS team has the talent across the board, as well as the coaching, to win the NC. If the only major problem is the penalties, that can be improved.
After the last few days of dismisalls I am a little worried about the OL depth but with a little luck we will be fine. I have faith in Flynn as well as the new receivers on O and with Dorsey plugging the middle, our LB's and CB's, will do fine. I would put our starting 22 against anyone in the Nation. Go ahead, pop my balloon! GEAUX TIGERS!! Through Thick and Thin

We were all worried about the O Line last year. Yes, they underachieved in the run blocking area, but I was amazed in most games how much time they gave JR in the pocket. Against UT, Florida, and Auburn, JR was sacked 4 times. (This of course is ignoring his broken tackles)

Zenon was money for TFL players last year. Unfortunately for me, I am a slow learner...

Like I said, slow learner I am...., I didn't see the same line problems as some of you, I saw more problems in deciding on a bell cow. Too many backs sharing carries is something I never like and the backs are never satisfied anyway. You have a winner in KW, if someone else wants the ball, make them earn all of the 20-25 carries that the starter gets. That was the one thing about LSU that really drove me crazy last year, the fear to turn the running game over to KW until late in the season.

I have to disagree. We're lacking developed talent at WR, Oline depth is scarce, and our QB is unproven.

    And

CmfP is right on. There is no way I can feel safe in saying that we should win out with Matt Flynn victimizing a very overrated Miami team in the 05 Peach Bowl. We need to see him do more of the same against a very very very good Va Tech D before I feel safe about him as the one to lead us all the way.
