I would usually say radio, but the radio broadcast is about 5 seconds ahead of the TV game, which is annoying to me. So I prefer TV audio.

 

Nice job by Thornton on making a basket on an intentional foul. Not a nice job missing a FT, though.

Whew! Marcus Thornton is amazing.

 

LSU is not shooting well, but neither is Arkansas right now. If LSU was just shooting 40% so far, they would be up by 20. As it stands, LSU 14, Arkansas 6 with 11:42 left in the half.

 

Thornton is one of the 3-4 best guards in the program's history -- and no, I am not exaggerating.

He has molded his game to become a great offensive and defensive player and it's a true shame he got here as a junior -- even though had he played this week as a freshman and sophomore, he'd have probably gone out anyway.

 

Flip-side is that Ark is playing GREAT defense! Not great shot selection by LSU though (Bass shooting a 3.)
