CBS rides LSU Championship Run to Best Football Ratings since 1999

Fox is the worst, IMO.

I am so thankful for the CBS-SEC partnership. Also, I am sure their ratings weren't hurt by the fact that nearly every LSU game went right down to the wire.

OK...I'm completely in support of this. But, I do like ESPNs coverage, with all their shortcomings and BS, I still like the play by play guys better than CBS.

If CBS picked up all our games they would have to get two new people to call the game, b/c the two they have now are unbearable. I have to turn off the sound and listen to Hawthrone.

I think it looks the best of all the major networks...

 

I think it looks pretty good, just the guys calling the games usually suck, and they add dumb graphics and sounds for no reason.

 

I couldn't wait to get to the end of the thread and you beat me to it. Lundquist and whoever the other tool shed is that does the game with him sucks. Gary Danielson or whatever the hell his name is. Keeps calling out the wrong names. Anyway, I despise the golden boners for their contract with NBC because IMO it's another network that could be covering another game that someone wanted to see. I think it's good that CBS and ESPN squabble over who gets to show the LSU game. Living outside of the state of La I can tell you that the only game I didn't get to see was the MTSU game. That is cool. I'd like for it to stay that way and as long as our program continues on the same path I don't think anything will change. We are a power and always ranked and that will garner the media attention. There is no need to sign a contract with a network and join the ranks of the team that field goal Jesus looks after.

 

I think it looks fine, but yeah the broadcasts suck. The Announcer's are retarded and they don't show enough replays of important plays that couldn't be seen the first time but manage to show replays on things that were obvious the first time.
