In years past, I would freak out if we went on fourth down, but I think CBK is showing the players that he believes in them and I think that confidence is also reaching the players on the sidelines. I really think it's part of CBK's overall plan of revamping the program not only on the field, but from a mental standpoint.
I was as surprised as anyone when they announced they hired CBK.. But after thinking on it a day or two and looking at his resume, I knew it was the right hire. He's proving to be just that, in a whole lot shorter time than anyone thought it would take. I feel like LSU's football program is in great hands for years to come.
As for someone who lives in Missouri about 60 minutes from Columbia that is spot on. They are happy with any bowl and the SEC paycheck.
It's just amazing to see how confident this team is when you consider we barely had a team a year ago. This is just the beginning, so I can't wait to see how the future unfolds!
And the accountability culture he is teaching these young men make them more than better players. He is making them better men in their daily lives that stretches way beyond than the 100 yards of the field.
If he can keep this up we might have a dynasty brewing. Next up, ATM (or as I saw someone refer to them, LGBTAMU). Next goal is to get that Arkansas game out our mouth by performing against an SEC opponent. I do think Arkansas is much better coached than ATM, so I’m hoping to put it on them early so they just lay down and take it.
