    for some reason, destroying a perfectly good engine for no reason or better yet in the name of global warming affects me much the same way michael vick killing dogs has on the country.

    Yes, I realize they have a system. But knowing how things work, the system will have plenty of flaws. Especially for such a large scale thing as this that was rushed together.

    Nothing good about the deal in my eyes. Heck, we pay taxes for the cars to be traded in too.

    Interesting that everything passed so far has been done exactly that way. What are the odds we have similar results with everything else?

    everything i read said the government has spent 96 million of the 1 billion dollars.

    isnt a billion one-thousand million?


    or have i been uninformed my entire life.

    God forbid for people to want to get better gas mileage out of a car. The horror in that.

    Of all of the posts in this thread, these two statements sum it up best....not only for this program, but liberalism in general. Liberalism always sounds good......until you stop and think about it.
