But my fine tiger friend. It is well known that everything IS a process and everything is "relative to" something.
The kool-aid is indeed strong. Crimson kool-aid.

Indeed. The kool-aid is tasty, and has been green, purple, teal, and now red. Most folks are better for having drunk it, but it can leave a bad residual taste when it comes back up. :thumb:

Just gotta have a big ol' script of zantac or prilosec. Something for that reflux.
I really don't think that CNS can afford to ditch us any more than we can afford to ditch him. I believe that for better or worse, we could be together until he decides to "hang it up." Not too many schools would trust him to keep his word anymore. Besides when Coach Moore decides to retire.............CNS may get to be the AD. Who knows anymore?
If he does win big at Bama..............all he has to do is speak it and it will be done.

Why would leveraging a newly-minted national championship, which would give Les more power/exposure/street cred than he's ever had in his life, into his dream job (one can assume it is, anyway) of coaching his alma mater "ridiculous"?

It's called "striking while the iron is hot", and a Les Miles w/ a 2007 title in his back pocket would be white hot...and target #1 for a Lloyd Carr-less Michigan, I'd think.

Agreed. Besides it is easier to win big up there in that conference than it is down in the SEC.

I was referring to the assumption that LSU is going to win the 2007 MNC. Will you be disappointed in anything less?

    XXL TideFan,
Not to highjack the thread but, but how well do bama fans honestly think the tide will do this year and if they have a bad year, what's it going to be like. bad year as in losing to auburn, LSU, and maybe a not so good team at home and then some (6-7 wins).

No, just no. Bama will be lucky if they dont get in trouble with the NCAA again in the next two years.

    Just leave.

I believe that any fan with a cursory understanding of CFB would be happy to see some improvement. After last season and three of the last four being non winning seasons only the most delusional fan is crowing about a 10 win season. I believe that 7-8 wins is likely and with a break or two we could pull out 9. The main thing is the attitude and conditioning. We are already far ahead of last year. This team has to be taught to win the nail biters. September will make or break Bama's season this year.
