I wish the "liberal" media would do a better job of slamming Rush. He comes from a good family. His dad was a WWII fighter pilot. Both his grandfather and his father were attorneys (there is a federal courthouse in SE Missouri named after Rush's grandfather because he had such a respected legal and poltical career in that neck of the woods). His brother is an attorney, his uncle is an attorney (who is now federal judge in SE Missouri) and his cousin is an attorney (who is now a state supreme court justice in Missouri). Yet, despite all that, Rush couldn't even graduate college. He went to SE Missouri State University and failed out after his freshman year; according to his mother, "he flunked everything." He is a horrible husband: he has been married three times, and all three of his wives got a divorce. A few years ago, he got busted buying illegal drugs and he admitted that he was a drug addict. Ironically, the "liberal" ACLU helped defend Rush in his criminal case for the drug charges because of Constitutional issues. In the end, the prosecutors settled the case after Rush agreed to pay $30,000. As for making fun of Chelsea, does he make fun of the Bush daughters as well?
Bull. That whole family (except for John-John) got smacked upside the head with a big ole fat ugly stick. It has nothing to do with their politics.
In Jenna's defense, she did go on to do some respectable work, including public school teacher and some work helping the poor in foreign countries. However, I don't think Jenna is the one the Bush family pins their hopes on for the future. I think her sister, Barbara Pierce--the one they sent to Yale like her dad (US President), grandfather (US President), and great-grandfather (US Senator)--is the one that has a better chance of being a political star in the future. Ironically, like Caroline Kennedy when Caroline was young, Barbara Pierce moved to New York and works for a museum there (although I think the Bush family should send Barbara Pierce to a good law school like Caroline graduated from). And speaking of the Bush family, I still think GW Bush would be a fine US Senator. Also, I think his wife Laura would be a fine US Senator.
It's actually Jimmuh and Roslyn's fault for allowing her to be photographed. She should have been kept inside at all times.
I have revealed that I would prefer a viable candidate to be appointed to the senate in a very serious time for our country, regardless of party affiliation. You have revealed a willingness to defend a flaming liberal appointee with zero resume'. I guess it's just the moderate in you coming out.
