The Tarheels have always been pretty much of a nonentity in football so there has been no reason to love or hate them the way people love/hate Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, Texas ect. Their dominance in hoops makes them hateable to some people but I usually pulled for them in the past because I had such great respect for Dean Smith. Now that Roy Williams is the coach I only pull for them when they are playing Duke, even thought I have a lot more respect for Coach K than I do for RW. Does that make any sense? Maybe I should set aside my hatred for the Dukies and pull for them

ESPN predicts something we couldn't figure out NC either rallies or tanks:

Troubles mount for North Carolina - ACC Blog - ESPN

Never wouldn't have drawn that conclusion. This really sucks for NC. Is it me or are there more teams being invetigated than in years past? The pressure to win is enormous, I guess short cuts look very tempting.

Well man i am a huge fan. I've missed 1 home game since 1992. You know since this game has been announced i was counting down the days. My buddy and i are jacked up about it and all. Then this. It's tough to understand it all and realize we probly will be without many big time players. On top of all that i been argueing with my gilrfriend because she wanted to go instead of my friend. Well she told me twice she didn't wanna go so i offered my friend and jumped at the offer and took off work for it. Me and her have one of those split up and make up things going on you know.

So its been a long last few weeks. I had confidence this would end well and we could get it on next Saturday. Now i'm just looking to see what we have for the future and have a good time in Atlanta.

Well we won 10 games in 96 followed by 11 in 97. Then Brown left and we struggled ever since. We did ok after Brown for a couple years then we went another direction with Bunting. It was a wrong direction. One of those deals where he was a lover and graduate of the University, he was a likeable guy, and we beat State and Dook every year. We hired Davis trying to be a power again like the late 90's but it may have backfired. This was supposed to be the season where we saw what was really up at UNC. coming off two 8 win seasons looked like heaven for this program. The Bunting era knocked us way down. We have been hit again and this time it may be for the count.

    For this year anyway

Keep your chin up! It really sucks! I pulled for UNC after LSU of course when I lived outside of Asheville. I loved living in the mountains there.

You're taking it much better than I would have.

It seemed that even with a healthy D, the secondary for UNC was the weakest, if that means anything. It just got weaker... Sucks, this could have been the only ACC team to not get blown out by LSU in the past 5 years.
