If the game is moved because Baton Rouge isn't suitable, then how could Houston (the site of 100,000 evacuees as well) be better???
The situations are not the same. Texas is not strained to the breaking point in caring for these people---those being moved elsewhere are being moved to make them as comfortable as possible by not having too, too many crammed into a single space. The University of Houston played a game in Reliant Stadium---a football's toss away from the Astrodome---just this past Thursday. People were in the Dome at that time, and things went off without incident. The point is moot since the only two options that really make sense are either the Independence Bowl or moving the game to Tempe.
If the game can't (or won't) be held in TS, then I sure as hell don't want ASU to benefit from a home game either....I'd prefer it to be played in either Shreveport or Reliant stadium....but NO TEMPE. Period.
Still thinking they will move the game to Tempe. The BR area would have more benefit economically by having the game next year. More $$'s would be spent in BR. LSU doesn't have to pay to host the game elsewhere. Your schedule would be better next year with another home game. Don't see the game not moving to Tempe.
