http://espn.go.com/college-football...ture-lsu-tigers-football-tax-proposals-passed This Democrat asshat is using scare tactics to promote his tax-and-spend policies.
The truth hurts and the legislature and the citizens need to hear it right now. LSU runs out of money in April and will not be able to pay employees, contractors, and utility bills to finish the spring semester, it's a fact. There may already be no time to generate enough revenue to stop this. These are Jindal's chickens coming home to roost, put the blame where it belongs.
Can you imagine the lawsuits if LSU breaks their "contract" with the students. For instance, I just got off of the phone with my daughter. She applies to med school in May. She is pretty much eliminating LSU from consideration because of how this could impact her. Additionally, she is planning on dropping her psychology minor, go to summer school and then graduate in December, just to be out of the LSU system. But, if she gets 3 weeks from the end of the semester and they give her incompletes for this semester's work (she has all A's), I will certainly be talking with my attorney on possible recourse.
Kyle is right, they will figure it out. It will probably absolutely suck for the people of La but they will figure it out. It is what democrats do, sell you a bill of crap to get more of your money.
