I can see you hating Hannity, but why O'Reilly?

And where's the outrage over Olberman and Rachel Maddow?...Oh wait...nobody watches them.

I have seen alot of chit O'Reilly has said over the years concerning my race, not favorable imo. I didnt say he was bad at his job.
I like Maddow, Olberman is over-zealous like his auditioning for a movie role.

i dont like either of them (maddow or olberman). if they rarely have anything good to say about the other side (like rush and hannity) then you know youre being played.

I'dlike to see some specifics there. He's hardly a racist.

    Do you hate Cosby?

Saying stupid chit doesnt automatically make you a racist. Still doesnt diminish the fact that he said it.

I dont hate Cosby at all. Cosby is just trying to set a good example for his people, which I try to do the same everyday.

This statement shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the american economic system. If we raise taxes on capital gains much higher then people stop selling assets. If they stop selling, then they stop buying too. Wealth is built by money being moved around. Not only individual wealth, but also national wealth. Obama himself has said this rate can't go much higher because of what I have just explained. I think he pegged the absolute top end number that he won't exceed as 27% or 28%.

20% compared to 15% could be seen as not "much higher". i doubt that 15% is a magical # and that 15.1% cap gains tax would put us all in the poor house.

so what are you going to do instead? cut military, social security, medicare? those are the big three. otherwise raise taxes. then what? raise them regressively by not increasing capital gains because people will stop wanting to make money?

The problem is this. At some point, and there are arguments as to where that point is, you begin to have diminishing returns. That is, as taxes go up, revenue goes down. So it's not about keeping taxes low and cutting spending, it's about optimally taxing citizen's so that they can prosper thus allowing the country to prosper. Remember if people aren't making money, then they aren't paying taxes.
