Can the media lovefest for Oklahoma stop now

USC has a tougher schedule next season, going to Notre Dame, to Cal, to Arizona St and hosting Arkansas.

Still have an open date, too (Sept. 10).

 

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but Stoops hasn't won a NC with his own recruits. The title he won was with John Blake's team (Stoops 2nd year at O Who).

BTW, the moderators on the OU board OUInsiders.com has locked out anyone that is not a registered member. You can't even read the posts. Plus, when you try to go there you just get a list of Sponsors, they aren't letting people register to join them. Also, on a radio sports talk show here in Oklahoma City the host said that if anybody called in and criticized Jason White, he would hang up on them. :rofl:

 

I know they're hurting, but that's pretty weak - especially for the radio talk show host. Does he not think a 6th year senior should've played better?

 

Oh it has the Dallas Morning news talked about how OU had no business being in last years game that it should have been LSU vs USC, then they said USC paid OU back for being in last years game when it should have been USC... The jist of the article was should OU have even been in this year. To this guy it was clear they did not belong last year that USC should have had the shot (Since LSU was #2 in all three polls and won the Conference title) and that this year they screwed Auburn.
Believe me here in Big 12 country the sky is falling.

 

Sooners need

Most of the "sooner faithful" have thin skin. I still hear about how the awful LSU fans were by calling them Tiger Bait. Ya'll have no idea how much most (although not all because Mr. Peabody and another OU fan I know have been polite and realistic) sooner fans are holding a grudge from last year.

I don't know if the team can get back today because of the ice we have had most of the morning and early afternoon, but if not, they may be lucky.

 

Often times Jake Plummer can make the Broncos look like last nights version of OU :grin:
