At least some people do. Alan Houston made more than 19 million this season, and he's been retired since '05. (NOTE: I definitely picked the wrong career)

    OMG,
Looks like you aren't the only one.
I was thinking how amazing this years playoffs have been.
What I mean is that during the Heat vs Chicago series D Wade had some
bad games and people all over including this forum was questioning just
    how good he really is.
Then look at what he has accomplished in the Detroit series and how its
carried him over to the finals.
I think all of us saw the next superstar grow right before our eyes!
It really has been fun watching the NBA playoffs this year.
There are some "fun" teams, Phoenix, Dallas reminds me of the Sacramento
    Kings of old.

Looks like Bradley did get some coinage for this season:

I wonder if Shaq is totally healthy.
When you see Tim Duncan and others play it almost looks like Shaq is in slow
    motion.
C'mon I totally always root for Shaq but it just seems like he could be little faster at times or alter if not block a few more shots.
It just seems he could be a little more dominant at times.
I don't know, maybe the referees are trying to get him so he doesn't play
quite as hard as he use too?

    I've been quite disappointed lately!

Did you notice the post game interviews? Lisa Walter, then Dan Patrick, then Stephen A. Smith all asked Shaq the same question: Is this championship more special than your other ones? Translation: how about bashing Kobe and Phil live for us? Not surprisingly, Shaq had more class than to go there.

The team with more heart and more desire won, and rightly so. When push came to shove, the Mavs showed their true colors. They were manhandled. So much for all of Avery's talk about toughness and resilience. :dis: (And in case anyone gives a rat's rear, I am^H^H^H was a Mavs fan)

Avery's tough as nails. The problem is that Dirkle is softer than Charmin Ultra (not mine, tirk's).
