90% tax rate is what made this country great once. It created interstates, and infrastructure and was responsible for a booming middle class like no other country has ever seen. Or had ever seen until that started getting chipped away little by little.

 

Brocephus....history gives us lots of examples of socialism/fascism. Please tell me which ones reign as highly productive and successful.

 

We're Americans we are better than everyone else, we can do anything. Where is your American exceptionalism? You sure you're a republican?

Yeah what we see today isn't what those brave folks gave us. Again we are talking about going back to what worked and worked very well for everyone, not just a few. Can you imagine that the founding fathers envisioned a country that puts people out of their homes when they get sick? Or a country that is basically an oligarchy?

 

As has been stated, different times. A 90% tax rate would be catastrophic

 

We are. No doubt. There are still challenges that keep us from being as good as we could be. Encouraging future generations of government dependency is a big one.
