1. Missing a single tackle no. But a doing it every game 9 games in, Yes.
  2. Chavis' preference for undersized linebackers and safeties is killing us in the running game.

  3. You mean the way he has played prevent THIS YEAR and LAST???

  4. And in at least one case, very slow.
  5. What's killing us it this bizarre 4-3 scheme Chavis has been using all season. First of all, the LBs are 4-5 yards off the ball at the snap. Too easy for the offensive line to find their assignments, and there's no trouble for linemen getting off the line and to the LB's. As bad as Welter is, he's got no chance when SEC guards get a free run at him.

Second, the outside LB's are lined up behind the ends. They are too far off the ball, and too far inside. No way can they be expected to deny the running back the corner if he's got any kind of speed.

  6. If the guy keeps missing tackles because he does not know how to tackle............I would put that on a coach.
  7. Tonight's game.....yet another example that chavis is crap. Poor tackling and soft 3rd downs yet again loose us the game. Like gumps last year and Clemson last year.
  8. I sold on Chavis already...... I have no faith left to offer.

  9. 100% agreed with this. Did chavis ever win anything significant at tenn?
  10. The biggest difference in this game in my opinion was the lb's. We have not recruited lb's we have recruited free safeties to play lb. Alabama has real lb's.
