Cameron has her heart surgery on Wednesday the 15th. Those who don't know they plan to close a hole in her heart. I'm getting nervous especially since I can't be home at this time. I have missed the family a lot lately especially since things are slowing down a bit. Cammy had a checkup last week and is doing well. She doesn't crawl just yet so she rolls everywhere, that must be a site to see. She is plenty active and plays with toys and things, she waives them in the air. Her progress really has amazed me! I have been away from home since December 3rd working Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport and now Wilma in Ft Lauderdale. We should be wrapping things up pretty soon and I can't wait to go home for a while. Thank You all, I really appreciate you guys! :laflagwav :usaflagwa :geauxtige
Great news, SDM. As always you and your family will be in our prayers. I had two children born premature and they are just fine now. I know you guys will have many happy years together...just keep thinking positive, before long you'll be back at home and all will be well.

Today is the first time I have read this thread, I guess it was buried deep in space somewheres. I will be including your precious daughter in my prayers at night, and I will say a special prayer for Cammie on the day of her surgery. I will also pray for you and the rest of her family, please keep us updated on her progress. I also wonder why children are put through stuff like this, but like a lot of other people on this board I am also a Christian, and I know that God knows what he is doing, we are not supposed to question or wonder why stuff like this happens. Please hang in there and just know that there are lots of people on this board who are thinking of you and are praying for you and your family.
