Terry, Saban seems to lack some consistency. He did kick Tyren Jones off the team for possession of marijuana. To me being in possession of an illegal firearm is way worse. In this case they had both. What ever became of Brandon Hansberry? He was pulled over and officer smelled weed, found weed and scales. Another was Geno Smith. What ever happened to him after his 2nd DUI while at Bama.
What I'm seeing is the all-too-often joke that is law/rule enforcement when it comes to college athletes. Saban knows damn well that neither of those players should have been where they were....with weed and an illegal firearm. If it had been two pine riders, they would probably be kicked off the team so he could over-recruit another 4 players to replace them. I don't think he's prepared to open the season with Cam not on the field.
The question isn't what happened with these players. The question is why on earth people are bitching about the ruling. Especially LSU fans. Anyone complaining about Jeremy Hill? Jordan? Would the attitude be the same if either had signed with LSU?
Two athletes arrested. Two citizens let go at the scene. Seriously. Explain how athletes are getting preferential treatment when that happened?
That was MY question, and it most certainly was about "these" players. Your lack of an answer makes me assume they remained on the roster. amiright? Refresh my memory on what Hill did while on our roster? With JJ I assume you're referring to the battery charge? You equating a college brawl to illegal possession of a firearm? lol I just asked a simple question Terry. I was meaning no harm. That's some weak shit Terry; I'm disappointed. Call me when Saban leaves his starting QB home when yall come to Tiger Stadium.
Lol, you certainly sound offended. Please forgive the lack of sympathy as it was Jordan you truly wanted on that field. Did Hill have a illegal firearm nobody but the tooth fairy knew about and walked regardless? Stick to the script, homie.
Jeremy Hill's sucker punch got him benched for a game and a half. JJ's kicks cost him several games of his senior season. Both missed at least one full game against a major non-conf. opponent. Need we mention Tyrann Matthieu?
the delusion has been so real and so obvious for so long its only fitting to have one more ridiculous example for those stupid enough to be on the fence still. the sad part is this shit happened in La. Saban owns part of N La and other areas I suppose. That shit is unacceptable.
