Based on the last 3 years for TCU you are probably right:rolleye33: Why don't you tell me all you know about the school.....should not take too long.
TCU has been a very good football team the last 3 years. However they would not be 35-3 playing an SEC schedule.
This. All this crap about TCU and Boise is very annoying to me. Who gives a rat's hind end about the record of two schools that play, collectively, two decent teams a year?? I know Boise beat Oklahoma years ago, I know they beat VT this year, and I know they beat Oregon last year. So over the course of several years, they've beaten a handful...one handful...of quality teams. Big friggin' deal. - And TCU...couldn't even beat Boise State. - No. I want AU in the SEC. If they did something against the rules, they should be punished. If it was so agregious that it warrants removal from the SEC, then replace them...but not with the flavor of the week
Texas won't be crying about anything to anybody, any time soon. TCU and A&M will always be second class citizens to the Horns. Longhorn Network one step closer to reality - National COLLEGE FOOTBALL | Examiner.com "The University of Texas has received permission from the University of Texas System Board of Regents to take the next step in forming a Texas-only sports network, dubbed the Longhorn Network. The idea of Texas having their own network has been floating around for a few years according to athletic director DeLoss Dodds. Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com has previously reported that the network could be valued at over $30 million in revenue for the school and athletic department."
I can't, for the life of me, figure out why people still assume that Boise did something by beating the Sooners. The Sooners haven't beaten a really good team in 3 years or so, and I think they are the most over-rated football team in the country. They absolutely reek this year, and at one time, didn't the polls have them #1? Ridiculous.
You are certainly correct about the money in Ft. Worth and TCU fans. I've read everything that TCU grad Dan Jenkins has written over the years, and he's famous for his (too close to the truth) fictional accounts about cheating and paying players in Texas. So I wonder a lot about TCU's football team. And I also wonder just how exactly did Boise St. get all those California kids to move to the end of the world to play football. You know, winter in Boise is so much nicer than what you'd find in L.A. As for the Sooners, see the above post. It's not all that big a deal.
