Your talking about auburn and residents of the great state of Alabama. Do you really think that those people will show any class at all? It's not in their DNA

As much as one would hope AU would do this and fold their hand, the problem is, as RW points out, it ain't in their DNA. Also, I think that they really believe, in regards to the TD report, that since this has been going on for yrs with the SEC's and NCAA's knowledge, that it will just get swept under the rug.

Boston Globe article yesterday talks about the Auburn saga and mentions LSU's only loss came against Auburn. Good to see that its not only LSU fans that realize we may have been shafted.

Nothing screams "cleaning house" like putting politicians on the BOT. :rolleye33:

Makes me wonder also if political pressure from the Bammers will ultimately overrule the AU sympathizers and they still end up getting the death penalty. I would think people are very skeptical about a political solution since the governor whitewashed the AU program last time.

You know, after LSU played Auburn, we were all relieved that there was no screwjob. There were some iffy penalties called but they were called both ways. Thought Fairley should have been ejected, but there were some questionable calls that went our way too.

I guess my point is, what is it going to take for LSU to go into the state of Alabama and not get hosed in some way shape or form?

A new commissioner, complete cleaning house of upper-level positions and officials of SEC school graduates and donors, transparent evaluation of officiating (which is known to certainly NOT be the case), and moving the SEC offices out of Alabama. I'm dead serious about that. If NC money and recognition are riding on an undefeated team, then they can count on the SEC's, um, support, shall we say.

It doesn't even have to be an Alabama team. You need look no further than UF/Arky and LSU/Bama from last year. I've never seen a more blatant and obvious attempt to match up undefeated teams in the SECCG and get a team in the NCG.
