Looks like Auburn is trying to make it three perfect seasons with no championship in the last 20 years.
Unfortunately, you’re right. Auburn’s recruiting will probably take a hit which really is not in LSU’s interest as Auburn and Alabama slugging it out for Alabama in state recruits dilutes both programs.
If the NCAA comes down on au how would hurt us. I read they could be named from tv. That would be bad for us that can't go to the games. One less tiger game to watch would suck
They have been warned, the funny thing is they don't have to be even given a warning. They keep playing him the NCAA is going to make a determination that AU continue to disregard NCAA rules even after they had reasonable suspicion to believe there might an eligible player issue. The NCAA is going to look at what the result of their lack of action did... it will effect the SECC possibly BCSC and the Heisman. Banned from TV is going to be the least of their issues as they continue to ignore the obvious. The freaking retarded coach from Auburn is like, he's an eligible player... well the retard should know that he might not even get a letter in the mail from the NCAA until way after the fact. It's the schools responsibility and to me it looks like they are failing.
What's the worst that the NCAA could do. Just how bad can it be. I have heard that they can lose the ability to play bowl games, no tv and no bowl games. They could lose scholorships also. How far would the NCAA go and how much power does the NCAA have over a school.
NCAA has all the power over them. They could get the death penalty, that is the worst possibility (SMU)
Not familiar with smu, sorry. What's the death penality. No football at all for au. With all the money involved with an sec school would they shut a program down. How is this any diffrent from what Reggie bush did
SMU was ignoring the obvious. They just didn't care, violations after violations. Actually, very similar to USC except they keep getting violations and the university was doing nothing to get it under control. The put the program in mothball status. I don't think Auburn is going to get it, but if they continue this circus, who knows. They are potentially screwing up the SECC, BCSC and the Heisman. There is a eligibility issue, they are ignoring the obvious.
The NCAA can ban au from playing football. They can say no football at all at a school if they decide to? Really seams stupid to thumb your nose at the NCAA if this is so. I guess the chance to win the nc has au's blinders on. Sort of like a man that would risk losing his family for a one night stand. Damn stupid of them. BUT if cam is innocent and au benches him that would be wrong on many levels. But no matter what au will suffer for this innocent or not
