If they broke the rules they broke the rules. I'm not hoping he is eligible because if the shoe were on the other foot. If the shoe was on the other foot we should reap the consequences. Cheating is cheating period. It doesn't matter what happens now they beat us, so a forfeit would still be sour. I said it after the AU loss that cam doesn't have the outstanding personal conduct that most heisman voters are after. They want a model citizen, as well as a great football player. I'm not sold on his arm yet either. If it's a rushing qb, denard robinson is second in the nation rushing the ball and isn't a rb and missed time. I'm glad the ncaa is out in front of it this time. They have known for a while and so did AU.

I agree but the point is, they've already done it. They got to the bottom of this before the season and knew what was going on but ignored it. At this point, they'll have to deny that knowledge anyway so they may as well go for it. The point is, I agree with you, but they already made the decision before the season.

Assuming this is all true of course.

If this is all true then we won't have to compete with au for the west for years. They will not be going to any bowl games for a while. I would assume that would be the same for sec championship game also. Could someone answer that question. Could a punished au still play for sec championship? If a booster for au paid off newton and the school didn't know would it be any less severe of a punishment? Do you think their board of directors of au gets involved and they sit newton? Do you think any of the school higher ups like ad know for sure that he is guilty and would actually intentionally help with a cover up? Lots of questions here.

God so much Drama. I wouldn't be surprised though if it all turns out to be true. He has history of being flaky.

Every school/athletic program cheats in some kind of capacity. The thing is, it's best to not piss off those who can use that damaging information against them... (Bammer/Gaters).....

Just ask SMU. They pissed off the Teasips and got the death penalty.
