Rabalais reported Cam has a contract in hand but hasn't signed it. I don't have the details of the contract but I bet the terms are not favorable like his last one. Hence the looking around. Not sure when he received the contract but I know there was a meeting the night of NSD after the reports surfaced.

Man the folks inside the administration and close to it aren't very good at keeping their mouths shut are they?

They really aren't...Conspiracy theory could be that Miles and Cam leaked it to put pressure on the administration to raise the stakes. But the timing seems off given it could of hurt them on signing day.

I don't think it's a conspiracy at all. Smart business by the new Don. And judging by bis response when it went down makes it almost obvious.

Can you think of any coach coming back to same team and same position and taking a significant pay cut? I think it is on the table that way now but that could change. Guess it would depend on his other options.

They better not pay any more or write a long contract; that would be worse than keeping him.
