Calling out the whiners who complain about how we win games.

lets look at the positives here... we have had the hardest schedule in College Football so far this year. We have played a ranked team just about every week.

We only lost one of those games.

Now we have a bye week and let's hope LM can get the boys ready to finish off this season and make a run at a National Championship.

Bama is off next week too.

 

My .02 is this. I am not complaining about a win, that would be a dumb thing to do. I am however very concerned about the managment of the game. Not just the end but throughout the whole thing. The play at the end was out of this world but IMHO a very stupid and risky call. You have the ball, a time out and plenty of time to try and get a little better position for the kick. Glad it worked out and would hate to see the boards if it hadn't. Geaux Tigers!!!!

What about the cheap shot on GD. That was busch if I've ever saw it.

i suppose i'm one of those because i don't consider us a team that has earned a national championship yet. maybe you're right, maybe i am whining. but last i checked, you earn wins and you earn losses.

so far we haven't earned a championship and until we do there is room for factual criticism. hell some of you have complained that i said we're a "dumb luck team."

what in the hell is wrong with having dumb luck when you win a game? i don't know, but some of you sure have done some whining about me saying that.

point is people are entitled to their opinions without you blasting them for it. people are entitled to think we got lucky (when we did) without you blasting them for it. people are entitled to think we should execute better in the redzone so that we can not have a heart stopping game.

i'll end with this question – i haven't crowned lsu national champs yet, does this make me a whiner?

 

Great point. Not too mention how mentally tired they mentally they must;ve been from the emotional roller coaster of the last few weeks. Man, the bye couldn't have come at a better time. I really think we'll come back healthy and finish strong.

Answer it yourself. Do you complain about HOW we WIN games. If they answer is YES, then you sir (or maam) are a whiner. This team just went though a very rough stretch physcially and emotionally, they're tired mentally, and it's led to some slow starts. Fortunately for us, it's not how you start, but how you finish, right?

 

I'm quite happy .... now. But I'd like you to include me in your health insurance plan because my heart won't take too many more of these. :shock:

was anyone seriously griping about winning? or just how some things went? cause there is a difference. I admit I havent read any post game threads YET!

how do you know they arent happy? may be they LIKE to talk about the game play and how it went? bad or good. golly there's a concept, game analysis. There's always the "sky is falling fans" and the, " you people should just be glad we have water fountains at LSU" type fans you know the type. There is all types of fans. it would be boring otherwise.

People have a right to their opinion. the game was ugly, glad we won. sweated some bullets there. I hope we can do a better job regardless of WHO we play. Still love them Tigers, Hester has more heart than Csonka.

enjoyed the game big time! cause well WE WON! :grin: Didn really enjoy seeing them struggle at times though, lots of ups and downs. thank goodness it was more up than down. On to Bammmer !

when you've been a Tiger fan as long as I have, you've earned the right to say whatever the hell you please, I just did. other fans deserve to also and they will regardless of how many posts like this pop up.

If NO ONE bytched about ANYTHING then we'd still have DiNardo and the Declaration of Independance would never have been signed.
