correct. which really turns that "definition" on its head i have heard statements like that and it made me want to slap the snot out of the person saying it. (or do more serious bodily harm.)
you are way to smart to even believe that yourself, you know an opinion is worth about as much as a Nigerian bank scam. Statistics is what matters in a vote, claming 7 out 10 in a 4% voting bloc, is like trying to box with short arms. We just dont see it the same way and the equation still doesnt make sense to me. I understand that gay people want to make the link, however, I was born with this skin color. Now I dont know whether people are born gay or its a choice people make, im not here to argue that.
Your previous point just got busted and this is your defense. Sounds like somebody is working for the spin factory.
wow. pot meet kettle. Rex you are commenting on someone one falling for spin, yet you are using similar spin to attack SB in the other thread. edit: sorry someone walked into my office.

You still didn't get it. Nobody is saying majority of blacks didn't vote. We are saying their vote was a huge minority.
except for the fact that if the white vote was split 50-50, then the it really was the minority vote that tipped the vote on prop 8. In one of those quote they actually say that the black vote is only 10%, I don't think anyone is saying anything different.
Not sure who "we" is but I'll respond to YOU. I did not say that blacks didn't vote I am saying that Prop 8 won BECAUSE blacks voted in such high numbers. The black vote, at 10% turnout and in large urban areas like L.A. with a 57% support is arguably what pushed Prop 8 ahead considering the margin of victory statewide was just 5%. The sources I gave all said the same thing.
Right. So more whites voted yes and more whites voted no. Each yes/no white population was greater than a black yes/no population. Blaming the minority for tipping the scale is ridiculous.
