I understand that. I guess this issue comes down to what you believe spirtually, personally I dont put much stock in a bunch of stories that have been passes down and modeled to fit agendes, BUT thats just me. HOWEVERE I am sure there are same gay people out there that could do a better job raising a kid then some of the MONSTERs that are out there doing it right now.
I agree. I would be much more concerned that the parents love the child, rather than if they were hetero or homosexual. I've seen gay couples be extremely loving with their children.
Indeed. IF you have the time to worry about what 2 consenting adults are doing then you have to much time on your hands and should probably be worried about larger problems.
Some males and females are not able to "naturally" produce a child either. Do you believe if a man and woman are not able to have a child without adoption or medical technology that they are not meant to be parents. I ask because I have heard this recently and I do not believe I have ever been more infuriated in my life. o: As have I. Families come in all combinations.
Let's ban marriage for couples who can't have children naturally or don't intend to have children then! They're only in it for their personal gain!
This has long been my belief. The government should have no business in "marriage". They should sanction civil unions between any 2 consenting adults, except close family (Arkansas can get an exception on this).
:thumb:I know many couples (young and old) who were unable to have children. One underwent a surgical procedure and now have two little angels. Another tried invetro and have not had any success. My Godparents are some of the most genuine and loving people I know and chose not to adopt. Arkansas and Alabama. :hihi:
What's funny is that it was largely the Black and Latino vote that carried Prop 8. The same people who voted for Obama (who is against gay marriage) also demonstrated their own ability to be bigoted when it comes to homosexuality. Frankly I was more disturbed over Prop 4.
