I only post this in that it may change the Kiffen as OC or Houston's HC scenario. No links, I heard it from a Cal alumni friend of mine that I trust and he has connections to some big money Cal boosters. So there's that. Take it for what its worth. About a buck fiddy.
I'd be happy for Les but we need an OC. Waiting with no rumors are driving me crazy. We not hearing back up plans or anything. Lane wanting to stay for the playoff run is also an uneasy barometer. Anyway I hope Les finds a home, someone will get a great leader for their program.
Not sure I want to see Les here in Houston. Say what you want about his coaching, but he recruits well. We will end up losing some good La. players we want to him if gets the U of H job.
Players won't gravitate to him at a school like Houston. Miles would have his work cut out for him at a place like Houston. LSU kinda recruits itself.
If Houston wants stability they should go back to losing. If coaches keep winning there they will keep getting better job offers.
