i think pork cracklins implies there are other kinds which i thought there may be. ive only heard people call em cracklins so i thought maybe i was missin out.

Actually my favorite BR cookbook is Mercy Its Good. I am not sure that the school/church sells it anymore but it was wonderful because you got family recipes from people all through Baton Rouge and we all know the best cooking comes out of your familys kitchen!!!
