Oh Jesus, Titan didnt start this thread so that you could go buck wild bad-mouthing our ENTIRE offense. He was just simply telling you that Caddy and Ronnie are coming back. There are threads on AUN talking about who on your team is staying and leaving. Why do yall have to turn EVERYTHING AU related into something negative?

    WAR DAMN EAGLE!!

Were happy for you over here Morgan & Titan. I could only hope you would return the exact same squad as this year. Just remember the most important thing:

Let's not bragg to much about stopping the Caddy till after we stop him again this year. Is Jacobs still going to move to LB? you guys also have a real good shot at getting another great LA RB this year in Williams as we don't seem to want him for some reason.

That is some kind of intense hatred you guys have for AU then. Maybe I should sign the board up for anger management classes. :D

I dont think anyone was trying to brag about them coming back, but yes we are happy that they are staying. But sometimes the way you guys come across is that our altheletes are sub-par to anyone elses just because they go to AU, and thats just bull shit. And the way a few of you come across it seems like theyd think the SEC would be better off without Auburn even in it. I just think its to extreme from some of you sometimes. Hell Ill be honest LSU is not at the top of my list of favorite teams, but I dont go around bashing EVERYTHING that is LSU, like a certain someone on this thread.

And in defence of JC. It can NOT possibly be all his fault that the passing game is off. How is it his fault when he throws a perfect pass, but the reciever drops it?? Hell Im not gonna sit here and say that the passing game doesnt need work, hell it needs a ton of work. But like Ive said before I am certainly not going to scrap all seasons to come because this one didnt live up to SOME PEOPLES expectations. My expectations for the year were to take it one game at a time and hope for the best. Im not one to put the horse in front of the cart.

    WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
-and heres to next season. :)

While I do have a general disdain for AU, it is negligible when compared to my disdain for Florida and Ole Miss.

Its nothing personal, and probably has a lot more to do with friends who went to these schools and fell into the "culture."

AU is a fine institution, academically and athletically. No blood, no foul.

Please do fill me in on this "culture" because I had no idea AU had any kind of different culture than any other college town. :)

It would certainly be more classy. Tubberville is a taint on the whole conference and the day he leaves is the day I start respecting AU.

A wee bit defensive there, aren't we?

I had the impression he was referring to Florida and Ole Miss.

Come on Morgan. Every school and college town has a culture. AU is as different as LSU which are both completely different than College Station (thank you Lord).

In the case of my friends who attended AU, after spending some time on the Plains, they developed a certain arrogance that I grew to detest. And it wasn't just about AU football, it was an overall arrogance, or swagger as some prefer to call it. I'm not quite sure why, but it became more prevalent the longer they attended the institution.

Another friend, by way of work and not a childhood friend, also displayed similar personality traits, having attended AU for 2 years before moving to BR and enrolling at LSU. This friend was Canadian, and did not grow up in the South.

If this is not culture, I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Not trying to get into a pissing contest, just my take on "culture" across college towns, AU in this particular discussion, but clearly not limited to AU.
