are you "close minded" about alien abductions? i like to use words that mean things. "spirit" and "soul" do not count. when you say things like "meditation requires discipline" you must think are doing something incredibly fancy and difficult. but you are not. you are daydreaming, which may be the easiest thing anyone has ever done. what are you saying is "religion is the superstition i believe in."
Most people think, Great God will come from the skies, Take away everything And make everybody feel high. But if you know what life is worth, You will look for yours on earth: And now you see the light, You stand up for your rights. Jah! Crazy Cali.
Are you "open" to dancing in circles? From you this declaration mean nothing, which exactly contradicts what you just said. This is fine for yourself, but it is not a good argument for others without more substance. It is also troubling you can't abide the mere mention of anything outside of your belief system without becoming as hysterical as a religious extremist. You are speaking of something you haven't tried to understand. And just because something is "easy" doesn't mean it isn't poignant. Ride the tangent.
I think you are talking semantics here. I know that there is a vast body of geologic research that proves that the earth, much less the universe, was NOT created in seven days. But I doubt if you will accept this as proven, because of your religious beliefs. It then becomes a circular argument. One man's proof is another man's dogma.
of course. are you aware of any circles i can dance in, because i am getting pretty fired up. not sure i would call it "hysterical" when i point out that your beliefs are silly. ok, then help me out. what about your meditation requires discipline? what is your soul? what is your spirit? some people like to say "i am not religious, but i am very spiritual". the likelihood of saying this increases if the person is a woman, a single mother, gay, or a stripper. a stripper is "very spritual" 100% of the time. they say that because they had bad parents and need something stupid to fill the void in their empty (metaphorical) souls.
Most of the mainline Christian churches, and the Catholic Church and Orthodox Churches in particular recognize the story of creation as an allegory. It is a vocal and reletively small group that preaches strict creationism.
I admit that I have seen (on film) two "hot" women together. It really saddens me. I think of the beauty of the body God gave them and I see what I think displeases Him. I truely don't think I watched the rest of that film. But you are 100% correct. Lots of guys will watch and cheer and make jokes. I have asked some female friends how they felt about this. Would they watch a film of two dudes? Have yet to find one that would be interested. But you know how we "guys" are. Being the superior gender and all......
