This is silly. We can eat food that is both pleasurable and nourishing, but when we eat simply for the sake of eating we become glutonous. The fact is sex can be both pleasurable and open to procreation. The two ends are not mutually exclusive.

Can't resist urge to insert ridiculous argument... Oh, about 250 years ago, a group of people left England because they were being persecuted for their beliefs. They came looking for a fresh start in a place where they could have the freedoms they so desired. Fast forward to 2009. This is America. If someone wants to spend the rest of their life with another person, why shouldn't they be able to do so? Why should it matter to me, you, or the guy living on the eastern edge of the Quarter? If you don't like it, don't practice it. If you don't want to hear the good news spread by a couple of kids riding bicycles, don't answer the door. I don't want to see any couple having excessive PDAs. I don't care if you are gay, straight, or an animal lover, or a lover of animals. I don't think anyone wants to see that, unless that's your thing...you know, a people watching sociologist. Can't we just leave people alone to enjoy certain freedoms without getting all wrapped up in everyone else's business? If no one's getting hurt (other than their feelings), why the heck does it matter? If you think marriage is between one man and one woman, go ahead and practice that. Call it marriage, call it your own personal hell (some people do), call it whatever you want. Just call it your's and no one else's. As long as you aren't hurting anyone, you should have the right to spend your life with the person(s) of your choosing. Did I said persons. If you want to have a couple of wives, why not. Who are you hurting? As long as you can afford to support your kids, knock yourself out. Check out an episode of Big Love. Its a pretty good show. If it offends you, steer clear of it. There's some episodes of the 700 Club on cable channel 16. Check those out instead. Jim and Tammy Faye were never my cup of tea. Doesn't mean they shouldn't have had the opportunity to steal...errr....collect a bunch of money for their church, eye makeup, and ladies of the evening off Airline Hwy. Hey, its America. The land of opportunity. To live free from persecution, that's one of the great ideals that this country was founded upon. As we move closer and closer to becoming the United Socialist States of America (USSA for those into acronyms, kinda like the old USSR that the great President Reagan kicked in the figs), let's all try to hold on to those little pieces of freedom we have left, before some communist campaigns on a socialist agenda, gets elected, and makes the USSA a reality...Wake me, I think I'm having a nightmare.
