I'm ok with the Cotton Bowl not being an option. With our defense, we DO NOT want to play Texas, Oklahoma, or Texas Tech... you can even add Missouri and Oklahoma State to that list. Getting blown out in a bowl game is not my idea of a good time.
If there is a positive about this game this is it. I dont know why anyone would ever want to go there unless they live nearby.
Another positive may be that the players will have an extemely different bowl experience than the one they had last year. Hopefully it won't sit too well with them.
Well, here's another positive: The more terrible the bowl, the more terrible the team and the better the chance LSU stands at winning, right?
IMO, this is how it is looking for the SEC assuming UF beats UA in the SECCG: BCSNCG: Florida Sugar: Alabama Capital One: Georgia Cotton: Ole Miss Outback: LSU Chick-fil-a: South Carolina Music City: Vanderbilt Liberty: Kentucky Independence: Not Enough Qualifying Teams Papajohns.com: Not Enough Qualifying Teams
You don't think the Music City Bowl is drooling over a home game for Vandy fans? I see no situation where Vandy ends up anywhere else.
I,m GLAD we are NOT going to the COTTON BOWL. The damn thing bis played at 10:30AM on NEW YEARS DAY. No one even wakes up that early, specially NOt he LSU TIGERS. ITS televised by CBS too.
