Butch Butch Pierre is an above average recruiter who is saddled with a Head Coach who has alienated many of the local high school coaching and AAU coaching circles. This means that Pierre had to work 4x's as hard convincing kids to come here and as you can see by this years recruiting class and next years recruiting class--LSU is being completely snubbed by Louisiana talent. I don't know if Pierre has thrown in the towel in the last few months with the ULL thing or his has just grown tired of Brady and is now just collecting his paycheck til something better comes along but the quality of his recruiting has really fallen off and the future looks even more bleak. The Broussard fiasco may have even further alienated Pierre from the program but we will have to wait til Pierre is officially offered the ULL job.
