What, exactly, is it that he's doing differently now than he did before last years election? Last time I checked, the invasion took place in 2003. So very wrong. Sounds like you're insinuating that a sitting president can't be reprimanded for his actions. But certainly, you wouldn't make such an egregious point after preaching to me about not knowing about history.
I start from the basic principle that we are right to give another people freedom. You start from the basic conspiracy that we are a big bully and that the price of oil is fixed by some guys in suits. That's the basic essence of our differences. One is a socialist, America-hater and one is believes in the values of freedom and democracy. I can see the big picture that comes with having democracy in the middle east and one cannot. We have hundreds of thousands of Muslim's living in this country, opening up businesses, going to our schools, learning english and contributing to our country and they aren't blowing up buildings? Why is that.....cause they have an evil religion? Maybe it's because they see what freedom and opportunity can bring to them.........and that's what will happen in Iraq, and Iran and Syria........I know, a tough concept for you to get but try and follow it. And just because I constantly show you to know just about nothing, that doesn't mean you have to answer me with insults. Don't post if you don't answer anything I say. Tell our troops that freeing 50 million from captivity is based on lies and propoganda. Tell the families of the dead Iraqi's that Saddam-killed that what we are doing is for nothing. Tell them, not me. I believe what I believe so your nonsense doesn't affect me.
Reprimanded with all of Congress who saw the same intelligence and voted for the war. Reprimanded with the Senate Arms Services Commitee who said there was nothing wrong with the build-up to the war. Those reprimands? Go reprimand him. You are the ones who are sheep.....the sheep who continue to deny the success of the war just because you hate Bush. Bush cannot win this war because if he does, it'll verify all he has said. Well too bad. We're gonna win, Iraq will be free, then Iran and then Syria and Bush goes down as the greatest liberator in history. I know, hard to take.
I certainly hope you're right. And that would be quite a feat...for a Republican President to be known as "the greatest liberator and liberal" ever. Hopefully he can raise taxes as a final hurrah.
I'm an America-hating socialist? Wanna explain that one to me? Wanna show me where I denounced our country, ever? Wanna show me where I favor the government taking over industry? Remember that time that you were ranting on and on about how Libertarians only exist because they want to smoke weed? Well, you might be very well served to research our economic principles before you go making more asinine statements like this one. What on earth are you talking about? Seriously. Wow. Just wow. Craig preaching to someone else about insults. That hurts my head. Yeah, and I like how you addressed all those questions from my earlier post. You're sucking the IQ out of this place fast. You continually demonstrate a complete inability to carry out anything resembling a coherent argument, and feel perpetually compelled to remark on other characteristics of those that don't agree with you. So again, I ask, why bother? If you're looking for a pep rally and pats on the back for worshiping Bush, this ain't the place for you.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there an investigation which concluded that Bush did not mislead, manipulate intelligence or otherwise "lie" to get approval to take out Saddam?
I hear ya dude. I have a friend, a close friend who has no love for Bush but is ultra-conservative. I told him from day one.....the Iraq thing is going on and he's pissed about the prescription drug plan. I agree, if 9/11 hadn't happened, I don't think the prescription drug windfall happens. But, I think Bush is willing to give up the prescription drug plan if he can continue to war on terror. Cause if we don't win the war on terror, free drugs is the least of our f'en worries. Hey, I'm a Reagan guy OK. But I think Reagan would be doing the same thing in terms of Iraq with one exception. He would have already liberated Syria and Iran as well.
No Reagan was too smart to get into a quagmire. Bush's speech was not great. It was him whining about the media and the other party. Hardly the mark of a leader. He speaks divisive hateful rhetoric.
You don't have to say "I'm a American-hating socialist" if everything you say says you are. Don't hide from what you are. It's like a liberal who does everything liberal but doesn't want to be called that. Hey, stand up for what you are. I know I'm right. I don't need a pat on the back. Go talk with Red if you're looking for someone to pat you on the back. I can tell you this........you and Red are about the same.....like all liberals. Never take a stand on anything, just criticize everything else. That way, you are never wrong. I stand behind guys like Bush, Truman, Reagan....guys who made a difference in this country and world. I like guys who stand up for what they believe in right or wrong. You and Red are bandwagoneers. You would be giving a blow-job to the war right now minus the insurgents.
