Michael Shrimpton isn't a real guy. He's like Sidd Finch.

i dont mind him knocking what this guy says.I didnt say it ,Michael Shrimpton did.Is it plausible Shrimpton is telling the truth? Would this guy have access to this information?Do the Chinese own a trillion dollars in U S treasury bills? Did Iraq take a boeing 767 simulator from kuwait in the persian gulf war.I don't know the answer to any of these questions ,but to say the guy doesnt exist based on one paragraph in wikipedia and compare him to a nonexistant pitcher who can throw 168 mile per hour fastballs in workboots is a joke.

I do not believe Iraq moved and WMD out of the country between 2002 and 2003, based on my reading of the Dulfer final report on Iraqi WMD, filed with the CIA in 2004. You can read the entire report here:
    https://www.cia.gov/library/reports/general-reports-1/iraq_wmd_2004/index.html

It loads down slowly even with Road Runner, the govt. does not have fast lines for this type stuff. I searched and there is no mention in the report of evidence that these materials were removed.

As far a China threatening to dump a trillion dollars on the market if we talk about an Iraq - Bin Laden connection, I can't believe it. First, what would their motivation possibly be? And second, they do have the better part of a trillion in dollar reserves due to their huge trade surplus with the US. If they dumped their dollars, basically economic terrorism, the dollar would fall in value because of too much supply. To defend it and prevent a big inflation in the US, we would have to raise interest rates. That would slow our economy, possibly or probably inducing a recession. Then our folks would have to consume less. Now who do we consume from? China. Who also gets hurt by that? China would be hurt bad by a US recession. It could happen, but I consider it doubtful. The world economy has become very intertwined. If you try to whack one of your biggest trading partners, it will come right back at you.

You're finally starting to get it! We were all tricked.

Nobody liked Saddam, Tiger. Clinton maintained sanctions, WMD inspectors on the ground, a no-fly zone for 8 years, and bombed the place twice, but only Bush invaded Iraq with a too-small army and made a superpower look foolish. The debacle all started with Bush.

Michael Shrimpton is not a British Intelligence official. He's a lawyer specialising in national security and intelligence law. He writes articles and is a media consultant. Or he's disinformation. Take your pick.
