Pretty hilarious statement. Red55, Lets not forget that the Clinton Administration also said that Iraq and Saddam had WMD's to be perfectly honest but at least Clinton was smart enough not to invade and become an occupying force. This is one reason Mrs. Clinton hasn't apologized for her vote for supporting this war, she got intell from her husbands administration before she voted because she knew it wouldn't be wise to go on information from the Bush administration alone. She doesn't trust Bush or the Republicans especially with her future of becoming a presidential candidate at stake.
A pretty true statement. The "media" is a broad term. Hollywood films are very liberal, TV news is slightly liberal, newspapers are slightly conservative, talk radio is strongly conservative, and political books are strongly conservative. The media encompases the entire political spectrum. Well, Saddam did have chemical weapons stockpiles after the 1991 Gulf War. Clinton was smart enough to realize that the UNSCOM inspectors found them and destroyed them during 10 years on the ground in Iraq. And when Saddam tried to inhibit the inspectors, Clinton bombed Iraqi security and production facilities in retaliation. Clinton explains Iraq air strike The inspectors did their jobs, backed up by the Clinton's no-fly zones and US airpower. Our own US inspectors warned us, in Bush's buildup to war, that we would find no WMD's in Iraq. And they were correct. Former weapons inspector: Iraq not a threat
If media is a broad statement then Supafan's statement is narrow one. It is also a misleading statement saying that because a lot of people "watch" one channel that the media isn't liberal. Well, I will point out that tv news isn't conservative except for one channel, Fox News. All the other networks, Abc, Cbs, Nbc, CNN, HNN, MSNBC aren't conservative. Newspapers are slightly more conservative than what? TV News? I have no problems with radio being mostly conservative.
