Carter and Johnson weren't that long ago. A fine example of poor wartime presidents, who deserved the widespread criticism they received. You haven't forgotten "Hey, Hey LBJ, How many kids have you killed today?" have you? I'd call that criticism to the extent that Bush has received. Then there was James Madison, who presided over the blunder that was the War of 1812. We were all taught in school that the US had never lost a war, but we lost that one by all of the conventional criteria. Madison was not prepared for war and the British promptly blockaded our commerce, invaded, won most of the battles, captured Detroit and proceeded to sack Washington and burn the Capitol and the White House. The treaty that ended the war gave no meaningful concessions to the US. Madison got a lot of criticism for that one. He looks like Dick Cheney doesn't he?
Is that what Colbert was referring to when he said that we're 12-1-1 (in wars) last night? I assumed that Nam was the tie, but couldn't think of what the loss would be.
Give me a f*ckin' break. That's the lamest ass crap I've ever heard. You and a hundred million other swingin' dicks pay taxes. If you die, Bush and state employees will still get paid and your sorry liberal ass won't even be missed.
Sounds like someone missed naptime. Boy, you sure do seem like a miserable person. I don't think I've ever read an entry of yours where you weren't trying to insult someone.
tie? the yankee flag i see flying every where says different. we lost brother. but the south will rise again.
