I don't think there will be lawsuits. What they did was illegal at the time. They just get an early release.

You were probably too preoccupied with munching on the Oreos and anything else in your fridge.

I think they should all be set free, and anyone with any record due to marijuana should have their record expunged. It would clear up alot of prison room for real criminals.

That's what happens when you have an ex pot head as the Governor. I hate to keep quoting the late great Bill Hicks, but for all the christians out there, his point was,
Bill ->"isn't making a plant illegal kind of like telling God he made a mistake? Can you see God on the 7th day, looking over his creation, and smiling, then doing a double take"
God -> "Oh my me, i put pot everywhere! I shouldn't have smoked a joint on the second day. Ha Ha, thats the day i created possums. Still gives me a chuckle."

The only reason the plant is illegal is because of the way people use it...pretty much exclusively. I don't pretend to know His intentions but just because God made a plant doesn't mean people need to smoke it.

I had a feeling that was coming. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they made that illegal too. I hate it. My dad used to smoke like crazy. Ever since he quit I can't stand the smell. It doesn't do anything good for anyone to my knowledge. Plus it makes furniture smell disgusting.

If people would stop smoking there wouldn't be as much cancer, health care and insurance costs would go down, and people would have more money to spend on things that don't kill people. Like guns. Quitting smoking is clearly the solution to everything.

ok, true, but who are you, or anyone else to tell me or anyone what we can and cannot consume? im not saying make pot available on the shelf at your local walmart, im saying recognize it for its medical capabilities. and stop putting people in jail for it, and treating it like its heroin. And how are guns safer than pot? Maybe we should make caffeine illegal too, and red meat, and fatty fried foods, maybe mcdonalds and taco bell. if you take 2 people and put them in a house for a year, have 1 smoke pot all day long, and have 1 eat mcdonalds every meal, who do you think is going to kick the bucket first.
