My guess is you are right, and he is also smart enough to realize he isn't ready right now for the fight he wants.

Correct me if I'm wrong..but didn't we release the iranian "diplomat" we caught in iraq, just days before they released their prisoners. G. Gordon was talking about it the other morning. So we basically just traded prisoners. There's no telling what other concessions we, and the brits, made to secure this release. In my book, this means the iranians won.

Both sides won. A DIPLOMAT was kidnapped....he was returned....British soldiers were kidnapped....they were returned. I seriously doubt they would release him if he was a member of Quds Force. Bush has said many times "we don't negotiate with terrorists." They refused to release the other 5 Iranian terrorists because they were in fact....terrorists.

Mighty Iran can conquer a rubber boat full of inspectors! The world shudders in fear.

Did they get the apology they demanded? :cuss: Did they get the release of the 5 Iranian Revolutionary Guard captives we hold? Why . . . no. When Ahmadnutjob realized that Iran was looking foolish, he quickly and craftily bought some cheap Chinese polyester suits, gave them bags of gifts, and "granted them a pardon".

Mighty Iran is magnanimous in this . . . this historic naval victory! All illiterate ragheads rejoice! Allahu Akbar!

Give 'em a week or two, they'll release the other 5. There is no such thing as "Both sides winning".

Is this the same military intel that said Iraq had WMDs? If this guy was really a terrorist I doubt they would have released him.

All I'm saying is Bush had said before that we don't negotiate with terrorists. Hell, I think Clinton even said it.
