Ole Miss is #83 in rushing defense.. look for lsu to put up about 280 on the ground.. they are #77 in total offense.. i have a feeling that if lsu doesnt turn it over 12 times.. then they should be fine and Ole miss will come away with a gooseegg
And turning our attention to basketball for a moment, this week the Rebs lost twice in the Black Coaches Association Classic. A 60-36 loss to Air Force and 70-52 to Illinois State in the consolation game. My guess is Christmas sales of Ole Miss merchandise will be a little slow this year.
Do Ole Miss's teams usually do good? It doesn't effect their sales because they don't get any bandwagon fans - only people not smart enough to know that their is better are still Ole Miss fans. lefire: lefire: lefire:
There are some here in MS that jump the fence between Ole Miss and MSU. The Dawgs' stock is rising and Ole Miss has just about bottomed out. Looks like Croom is legit and MSU should have a great year in basketball if they can get Roberts back. Thursday night against Syracuse could be ugly though. Ole Miss football has gone from 10 wins and a Cotton Bowl victory to very likely three wins, and a basketball team that was NCAA tourney caliber before the last coach left now can't even smell the NIT from where they are. BTW Col Reb, anything to all that fire Cutcliffe talk floating around if you guys lose to MSU? I've seen everybody from Zook to Mike Price to Rick Nuweasel on the wish list over there. Any insight into the situation?
I wish the man no evil. However, I have wanted to see him go since Eli was a red shirt freshman. Redshirt the first year. Good idea. Let him learn. But he could have played some his second year. NO--When they played LSU at Oxford, Miller had receivers WIDE open. He could not bounce it to them. The first I really remember about Eli was when they put him in for the fourth quarter in OUR bowl game in Shreveport. BOOM 4 tds No Mercy.......play with PRIDE or go HIDE. :angryfire :angryfire
Jackson tv station tonight says some OM players are giving BUTTLIFT bad reviews. Of course, Butlift says he will keep putting the best players on the field that gives the opportunity to win. SAME OLD SAME OLD ++++
i really hope we beat lefire: 77-0 I know they can give us trouble at the worst times, maybe that's why i cant stand lefire:
