That dude is a punk. My post isn’t that bad. There is no need for what he did. I sunk down to his level and I should have ignored it but I get a kick out of close-minded people. I thought I would throw him a ball. People seem to knock Flynn b/4 even giving him a chance to play. Randall should move to third string Flynn should move to second string and get some PT against a decent Gator team. If LSU starts Russell next weekend I hope he has the game of his life. If we are getting blown out, I would love to see Flynn get in the game.

What I am saying is that its obvious there is a reason Russell is ahead of Flynn right now. It's something Saban has seen in Russell in practice that puts him ahead of Flynn. I will be the first to admit that if I was put into coaching, I would probably start a guy like Russell because of the "aura" that goes around that guy. But I think Saban is smart enough and good enough to look beyond that...

 

Do you think that the first 5 games of the season were wasted on Randall? What I mean is should he have even seen the field this year? I think Flynn could have done just as well. Randall has probably taken the majority of snaps in practice and who knows if Matt had that much work he might be on his way to being a baller this year.

 

Flynn has talent, but his is not ready. He has thrown one dump pass to Xavier Carter in his collegeiate career and now we are ready to start him against Florida? Here is JaMarcus's stats on the year... JaMarcus Russel 5 138.24 85-42-1 49.4 687 6 42 137.4

If Russell was the one not getting much PT, you'd be crying for him to start.

Russell has played very well for a redshirt freshman seeing his first action in big time college football.

I would not mind seeing Flynn back up Russell from here on out. We have to look towards the future. Flynn will have a fair shot this spring to compete for the starting job.

How would you guys rate Jamarcus Russell so far in his first season? I say an A or B..........

I'd give him a B. Too many straight up bad passes...but also so really great passes...If the line would give him more time to throw and the receivers had more experience( outside of Sky), maybe he would have better numbbers...
