maybe we should wear the "dinardeaux" jerseys we wore in the bowl game once a year. I liked the white helmet look a lot and the gold jerseys. other than that, we are knwon for white...keep it that way.
white helmets are puke, so are the gold jerseys........just not LSU. As far as the purple jerseys being bad luck, I think the coaching staffs and the talent level had more to do with it!! If I recall, we won a BCS bowl with purple jerseys!! BRING THEM BACK!!
We should bring back the Gaynell Tinsley letter-number system while we’re at it. People, it is two days before the biggest game of the season, yet the talk is of what color shirts the team should wear, despite the fact that THEY DO WEAR PURPLE JERSEYS FOR TWO GAMES EACH YEAR! Enough with the fashion talk!
i know we wear them during the early OOC schedule...it would be nice to have a "big game" where we wore them....meaning nationally televised....purple jerseys do not determine the outcome of the game, but they do look nice and are a good change of pace on the national level.

Don't mess with tradition, I say. LSU is nationally known for its white jerseys and gold pants and are instantly recognizable. I'd save the purple for really big games, like when Notre Dame wears green.
Looks too much like K State or Northwestern. I like the Purple on Gold. If you start mixing it up too much, we will come off like UF where we worry more about our color combinations than how we play football.
I know we wear the purple jerseys twice but it isn't enough. I really like them personally. As far as white pants, gold jerseys, white helmets, or whatever just say no.
